Purpose and preparation
Organize evidence before completing an Accessibility Conformance Report. Keep product identity, tested configurations and findings traceable to the report's statements. Use ITI's current instructions and the requested standards.
A practical example
A product team has an automated scan, a manual audit and a list of fixes from different releases.
How to check it
- Choose the product version and reporting boundary, then identify the standards and edition required. Separate evidence from older builds or excluded modules.
- Collect criterion-level observations, test methods, environments and known limitations. Resolve conflicting results and distinguish untested behavior from supported behavior.
- Draft precise remarks that describe the evaluated functionality and exceptions. Have the report reviewed against the underlying evidence before publication.
What can be missed
A future repair plan is not evidence of present support. Do not convert an incomplete scan into a product-wide support claim.
