Audit Ticket Selection and Seat Booking

Published by whatisADA / Grow Wild Agency · Updated

Purpose and preparation

Review event choice, ticket quantity, seat selection and checkout. Include any visual seating map and its alternative selection method. Work with test inventory so the review does not hold real seats.

A practical example

A customer selects two adjacent seats, changes a ticket type and reviews a timed cart.

How to check it

  1. Identify the keyboard and nonvisual route for choosing seats or ticket categories. Check labels for section, row, seat, price and availability.
  2. Select and change tickets, including accessible seating options where offered. Verify that selection state and cart updates are announced clearly.
  3. Test the time warning, extension or recovery path and the final review. Record any step that requires a visual map, dragging or an unreasonably rapid response.

What can be missed

A textual seat list must expose the information needed to make the same booking decision. A generic “call us” message is not equivalent evidence of a usable online route.

Record your test

Use this worksheet to record what you actually checked. Notes stay on this device when you choose Save; they are not sent to us. Avoid personal or confidential information on shared devices.

These are your observations, not automated results or a conformance certificate. A complete evaluation needs appropriate scope, supported technologies, all applicable criteria and relevant page states.
